I trained as a dancer and have continued to teach GCSE, IB and The Trinity National Diploma in Contemporary Dance and Ballet for the last 32 years. My fascination with how the body works and moves efficiently led me to Pilates. Having joined different courses in the area I have seen the immense benefits that Pilates offers. Having suffered a back injury myself during my dance training I completely understand how exhausting and dehabilitating this can be. So it delights me to be able to use my continued training to help with an awareness of movement that not only strengthens and lengthens but also reduces aches and pains caused by injury and everyday life.
My qualifications are with Body Control Pilates and I hold a REPS Level 3 Qualification with additional certification for:
Intermediate Matwork
Antenatal Pilates
Postnatal Pilates
Older person Pilates
Standing Pilates
Bands
Toning Circles
Small Balls
Weights
Foam Rollers
Childrens Pilates
Breast Cancer
Triad Balls
HIT Pilates
I have also completed my teacher training with Cambridge University and hold a Certificate Of Education
and a WABBA Fitness Instructors Diploma
Fully Insured and First Aid Qualified.
I teach North of Cambridge in Histon/Impington, Waterbeach.
